Milner Associates in all projects from January 2022  will :
1. Provide carbon content calculation output for all design projects 
2. Request in our design solution to adopt sustainable designs and specifications for materials 
3. Include a statement of the assessment of waste of resources in our designs 

Approach 

Milner Associates approach to new developments will be 
• To debate the upgrading of existing buildings for extended use as a more carbon efficient design approach
• To debate the use of materials and design solutions that address efficient of engineering, material choice, logistics in factory/on site 

Strategy 

Milner Associates team will at all times seek to do the following:
1. Share knowledge of our approach and understanding 
2. Raise awareness of the climate and biodiversity emergencies and the urgent need for action amongst our clients, collaborators, and supply chains.
3. Support standards for net zero carbon and faster change in government funding to support projects and materials that mitigate against negative climate change
